Maintaing
our privacy in our society has become a big issue. We are constantly
being watched and our privacy is being violated, but do people care
as much as they say? I don't think so. If people cared about their
privacy they would change their ways and do something about what is
going on, but they don't. As Plotz says in "privacy is
overrated", "lack of privacy actually tends to fight
crimes, not cause it" its as simple as that. By the surveillance
of our ATM and our credit cards we are able to catch things that we
wouldn’t see ourselves and we appreciate that don’t we? On the
other hand people don’t want others to know they are committing
crimes or watching porn, right? So what exactly do we want privacy or
no privacy? We cant have it all.
